The Midnight Dragon is a yacht designed for comfortable living. There are spacious living quarters below decks and plenty of room above decks to enjoy cruising the Florida Keys aboard this Morgan OutIsland 416 tall rig ketch. Her main mast towers 62 feet above the water and is an awesome sight when carrying full sail. She's built for comfort while underway too. With a 41' overall length, 14' beam, and 27000lb overall weight she's very stable even in strong breezes so you sail comfortably with minimum heeling while still making good speed.
There is plenty of room in her cabins down below too. They're hand finished teak and mahogany with a layout that provides privacy and room to be together for meals and entertainment. The galley has a propane stove with an oven, a double basin sink, and large cold storage lockers to carry provisions and prepare great meals on board. She carries 120 gallons of fresh water, enough for cooking, cleaning, and daily fresh water showers. The crews quarters are separate and located in the aft cabin away from the forward living spaces for privacy. The engine room is also located aft of the main cabins.
Above deck the cockpit is shaded by a bimini top for comfortable seating while sailing. The aft deck features a propane barbecue grill and a stairway leading down to the swim platform on the stern. The main cabin has seating for up to eight people. The dining area seats six. The table drops down and converts to a large double bed. The port bench also converts to a large single bed.
The galley located in the aft portion of the main cabin has ample room and equipment to prepare great meals on board even while under way!
